HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE (HYPERTENSION)

SYMPTOMS:

High blood pressure is a regular condition in which the force of the blood against your blood vessel walls is excessive enough that it may sooner or later produce health troubles, similar to heart disorder. Its normal for blood pressure to go up and down during the day, but if it stays up, you have high blood pressure. A different name for high blood pressure is hypertension. When blood pressure is elevated, it starts to harm the blood vessels, heart, and kidneys. This can lead to heart attack, stroke, and other problems. High blood pressure is called a "silent killer,'' because it doesn't typically produce indications while it is causing this harm.

Your blood pressure reading uses these two numbers, the systolic and diastolic pressures. Usually they are written one above or before the other.

An interpretation of:

* 120/80 or lower is normal blood pressure.
* 140/90 or elevated is high blood pressure.
* 120 and 139 for the top number, or between 80 and 89 for the bottom number is prehypertension.

High blood pressure frequently has no signs or conditions. The only method to discover if you have high blood pressure is to be tested for it. Using the typical blood pressure cuff, your doctor or nurse can easily tell if your blood pressure is high. Some people reported that they had symptom of dizziness and restlessness.

HOW GINSENG CAN HELP:

Ginseng improves hyperlipidemic conditions ( the presence of excessive quantities of lipid in the blood) which cause the thickening of walls of coronary vessels, resulting in hypertension.

Studies suggest that ginseng seems to include components which counterbalance high and low blood pressure.

DOSAGES:

Take 200 mg capsule twice a day; or take one teaspoon of organic ginseng powder one or twice a day.
